Meet the founders
Flow was co-founded by Daniel Mansson and Erik Rehn. Together, they have a huge-but-simple goal: To use science and technology to help as many people with depression as possible.
In his work as a clinical psychologist, Daniel has treated patients with a variety of conditions, including anxiety and depression. As a neuroscientist, Erik has worked on projects in artificial general intelligence in Silicon Valley.
Daniel and Erik met in 2012, when they both worked at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm. With combined backgrounds in clinical psychology, computer networks, computational neuroscience and electrical engineering, they formed an interesting team. In January 2016, they launched Flow.
We believe that unlocking the science of the brain is key to understanding mental health. Our vision is to make everyone feel better and live healthier. We want to make depression treatment simple and accessible for everyone. Anytime, anywhere.
Our mission is to find new ways of treating mental health issues, using science and technology. This is achieved by applying scientifically validated psychology, neuroscience and technology to an effective and affordable treatment solution, called Flow.
