The symptoms of depression can get you stuck in a vicious cycle. When depressed, you feel down all the time, have little energy and difficulty enjoying the things you usually like. Because you don’t feel like doing anything, you stop doing the things that usually make you feel better. Then, you start missing out on positive experiences, which makes you feel even worse. And the cycle keeps spinning.
